Onroute Canada is a Canadian immigration and settlement firm dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the immigration process with confidence.
We provide consultations and assistance with a wide range of immigration matters, including Permanent Residence, Family Sponsorship, Work Permits, Refugee Applications, Humanitarian and Compassionate Applications, and more.

Meet Our Immigration Consultant
Amanda Belo’s career has been built around helping individuals and families navigate major transitions with clarity, confidence, and support.
She began her professional journey as a Settlement Counsellor, assisting newcomers with the resources and guidance they needed to establish themselves in Canada. She later spent more than a decade working as an Immigration Caseworker, providing advocacy, case management, and personalized support to immigrants and their families.
Throughout her career, Amanda has worked closely with clients to help them understand their options, overcome challenges, and build a strong foundation for their lives in Canada. Her experience has included assisting individuals and families with matters related to employment, education, housing, health care, settlement services, and the immigration process.
Her passion for helping others and her extensive experience working with newcomers led her to pursue professional studies in immigration consulting and become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). She subsequently established Onroute Canada to provide clients with professional, personalized, and transparent immigration services.
Amanda understands that the immigration process can be complex and stressful. She is committed to providing each client with clear guidance, careful attention, and honest communication throughout every stage of their matter. Her approach is centred on understanding each client’s individual circumstances and helping them navigate the process with confidence.
Amanda Belo is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). She is also in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

Permanent Residence
What we do
Express Entry Program
Express Entry is an online system used by the Government of Canada to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers.
Candidates are assessed and ranked through the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which awards points based on factors such as age, education, language proficiency, work experience, and other qualifications.
Express Entry manages applications under three federal economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class. Certain Provincial Nominee Program streams are also connected to Express Entry and may provide eligible candidates with an additional pathway to permanent residence.
At Onroute Canada, we can assess your eligibility, review your CRS profile, and guide you through the Express Entry process from creating your profile to submitting your permanent residence application if you receive an Invitation to Apply.

What we do
Provincial Nominee Program
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) allows Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada and contribute to their local economy.
Each province and territory has its own immigration streams, eligibility requirements, and application procedures based on its specific labour market and economic needs. If you are nominated by a province or territory, you may then apply for permanent residence in Canada.
Business/ Investors
Business immigration programs may offer pathways to permanent residence for experienced entrepreneurs, business owners, and senior managers who meet specific eligibility and financial requirements.
Depending on the program, applicants may be assessed based on factors such as their business or managerial experience, personal net worth, investment capacity, and ability to establish or operate a business in Canada.
What we do
Family Sponsership
Canadian citizens and permanent residents may be able to sponsor eligible family members to become permanent residents of Canada and reunite with them.
Family sponsorship may be available for spouses, common-law partners, conjugal partners, dependent children, parents, and grandparents, depending on the circumstances and applicable program requirements.
For parents and grandparents, the Super Visa may also be an option, allowing eligible family members to stay in Canada for extended periods while visiting their loved ones.
WHAT WE Do
Temporary Residence
For individuals who wish to visit, study, or work in Canada, there are several temporary residence options available.
Visit Visa
To come to Canada as a visitor you can come as a tourist, to see family and friends or to do business. During your stay, you will need enough money to support yourself and any other family members. Most travellers need to apply for a visitor visa or an ETA which is an Electronic Travel Authorization to fly to, or transit through a Canadian airport. Study Permit
Studying in Canada is an exciting and rewarding experience. If you would like to study in Canada for more than 6 months, you will need to apply for a study permit. While studying, students could gain valuable work experience in Canada.
Work Permit
Working in Canada depends on the nature of your work and your skills. Foreign nationals generally require having a job offer from a Canadian employer. The employer may have to obtain a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). In some cases, the employer or the employee depending on the program may be eligible for a LMIA-exempt work permit.
Permanent Resident Card Renewal/Citizenship
Meeting the residency obligations in Canada will get you to renew your PR card. Once residency obligations have been met for 1095 days, out of the 5 years, applying for Canadian citizenship is the path for you.
Refugees and Asylum
Refugees either inside Canada or seeking asylum at the port of entry may be eligible. These individuals have either experienced violence, human rights violations, or are looking for protection because they fear persecution.
Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds
This application is assessed on the merits of humanitarian and compassionate grounds. This applies to people with exceptional cases experiencing unusual and undeserved or disproportionate hardship. Individuals who can apply are permanent residents who are living in Canada and are not eligible to apply for permanent residence.
LMIA Applications
LMIA application is a labour market verification process whereby Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) assesses an offer of employment to ensure that the employment of a foreign worker will not have a negative impact on the Canadian labour market. Our office is ready to help in the preparation and submission of all the required documents from the employer.
